Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026. This is a starter policy for BuildMode’s current private beta and must be reviewed before paid public launch.

Information we handle

BuildMode receives the ChatGPT identity information made available to the Site, including a stable user ID and, when provided, email and display name. It also stores content you submit: profile details, posts, messages, workspace items, proof files, and optional marketing consent.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the member portal, attribute your work to you, provide requested features, protect the community, and maintain product records. Marketing email requires a separate opt-in.

Sharing and payment

Member content is visible only according to the feature you use. Private messages are limited to the participants. Your Stripe account, funds, bank information, and identity verification remain with Stripe; BuildMode does not take control of them.

Storage and security

BuildMode uses Site-managed database and file storage for product records and private proof files. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can edit or remove your own community updates, change your profile, opt out of marketing, and request help with account data through BuildMode support.
