Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you use BuildMode, including account details, onboarding answers, goals, body data, food logs, fasting or eating-window logs, daily actions, behavior notes, sleep or movement entries, Tribe posts, coaching questions, and plan updates.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, app version, approximate usage activity, error logs, and payment status.

Health and Behavior Data

BuildMode may store sensitive behavior and wellness information that you choose to enter. This can include weight, food patterns, fasting habits, medical-caution context, medication context you choose to share, eating-disorder history context, and notes about food pressure, stress, or setbacks.

Do not enter information you are not comfortable storing in the app.

How We Use Information

We use your information to operate BuildMode, personalize the Today screen, generate AI coaching, show progress, support account and billing features, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.

AI Coaching and Memory

BuildMode uses AI systems to generate coaching responses and summaries. Your logs, goals, coaching plan, and selected memory may be used to make those responses more specific. AI responses can be wrong or incomplete, so do not rely on BuildMode for medical, emergency, or treatment decisions.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe or the applicable app-store/payment provider. BuildMode does not store your full payment card number. Payment providers may process billing details according to their own policies.

Service Providers

We use third-party providers to host the app, store data, process payments, send email, deliver AI features, monitor reliability, and operate infrastructure. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to BuildMode.

Tribe and Tribe Features

If you post in Tribe or tribe areas, other users may see the content you choose to share. Do not post private medical, financial, or identifying information that you do not want other users to see.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account and app data while your account is active or as needed to provide BuildMode, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You can delete your account from the app. Account deletion is intended to remove your account data and coaching data from active systems, subject to legal, security, payment, backup, and fraud-prevention retention limits.

Your Choices

You can choose what to log, manage billing from Account > Manage Billing, stop using Tribe features, and delete your account from Account. You can also review coaching memory in the app through Coaching Context.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

BuildMode is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as BuildMode changes. The updated date above shows when this page was last revised.
